Memory Keeper
A playful, professional website illuminates "Minnesbäraren" (the Memory Keeper), a theoretical digital memoirs device for the elderly that
was developed in a user-centered design course. The device itself was designed at the
Swedish Royal Institue of Technology in Stockholm (KTH) by a team of 8 students
through interviews and discussions with retirement home residents.
I designed the website, drew the illustrations, and wrote the content. The logo and the touch screen interface,
shown under "The Product", were designed by Niclas Karnhill.
The cartoons were drawn by hand and scanned; photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot S110 digital camera;
these graphics were then edited with Adobe Photoshop. The web pages were written by hand in HTML and CSS.
